Features

Client Tweaks is a collection of small, individually configurable changes. Most options can be changed from the mod's configuration screen.

UI

• Master Volume Slider and Music Volume Slider add those sliders back to the options screen.
• Prioritize Experience Bar shows experience bar information instead of the locator bar. This also has an optional key binding.

Rendering

• Hide Offhand Item hides the item in your offhand and can be toggled with a key binding.
• Hide Empty Main Hand hides an empty first-person main hand.
• Hide Hands hides both first-person hands and can be toggled with a key binding.
• Hide Own Particle Effects hides your own potion particles in first person.
• Hide Own Particle Effects (3rd Person) hides your own potion particles in third person.
• Hide Shield Unless Holding Weapon hides your shield unless your main hand is holding a weapon.
• Hide Shield Unless Blocking hides your shield unless you are actively blocking or starting to block.

Mobility

• Auto Climb Ladder lets you climb ladders by looking upward instead of holding the normal movement key.
• Disable Step Assist blocks step assist added by other mods and can be toggled with a key binding.
• Reactive Sprint Key makes sprinting stop when the sprint key is released or sprinting is toggled off.

Torches

Torch tweaks affect light-emitting block items placed from the offhand.

• Do Not Use Last Torch preserves your final offhand torch and shows an "Out of Torches" message.
• No Offhand Torch At All blocks all offhand torch placement.
• No Offhand Torch With Block blocks offhand torch placement while your main hand holds a block.
• No Offhand Torch With Food blocks offhand torch placement while your main hand holds food.
• No Offhand Torch With Empty Hand blocks offhand torch placement while your main hand is empty.
• Offhand Torch With Tool Only only allows offhand torch placement while your main hand holds a tool.

Interactions

• Disable Log Stripping blocks accidental axe stripping and can be toggled with a key binding.
• Log Stripping Requires Shift only allows axe stripping while sneaking.
• Disable Paving with Block in Offhand prevents shovel paving while you have a block in your offhand.
• No Offhand Use With Food blocks offhand item use while your main hand holds food.
• No Offhand Fireworks With Elytra Unless Airborne blocks offhand fireworks while wearing an Elytra unless you are already flying.
• Berry Placement Requires Shift only allows berry placement while sneaking.

Mining

• Prevent Accidental Mining protects fragile blocks, such as budding amethyst and amethyst buds, unless you are sneaking.
• Do Not Use Last Durability (Mending) prevents use or mining with a Mending item when it is at its last durability and shows an "Out of Durability" message.

Building

• Pane Building Support makes iron bars and glass panes easier to target while placing.
• Chain Building Support makes chains easier to target while placing.

Recipe Book and Creative Search

• No Recipe Book Shifting keeps the recipe book from shifting the inventory.
• Clear Recipe Book Search clears the recipe book search field with right-click.
• Navigate to Ghost Ingredients lets you click a ghost ingredient in the crafting grid to jump to a recipe for that ingredient. Press Backspace to go back through that recipe history when the search field is not focused.
• Retain Recipe Book Search keeps recipe book search text when reopening the recipe book.
• Clear Creative Menu Search clears the creative search field with right-click.
• Retain Creative Menu Search keeps creative search text when reopening the creative search tab.
